Hello, I have recently received my CNC Router machine from OMNI. I have connected the machine to my PC via USB cable and the computer/mach3 does not detect it. Zach from OMNI told me there is no need to download a driver or plugin and basically tells me that I should be able to simply plug and play without any drivers or configuration. Yes the one in the listing is mine. I've been carving out a niche business restoring and retrofitting defunct cnc machinery. I came across this machine at a surplus sale and snatched it up immediately. I figured if I couldn't make it work with the existing components, I would gut it and put a Xylotex board in it to drive the steppers. CNC machine work 6061 aluminum. My company needs some who can produce small runs of the included parts (100-250.) I have attached photos of the models we were producing in house, but we no longer have the bandwidth to support this product line.
My repeat work that I get to do 100s even 1000s of parts I give those customers the CAD time. When I do charge for CAD time it's charged out at a lesser rate than table time. I can do the CAD work in the comfort of my easy chair & at times it doesn't take me away from production work. You have to charge what it takes for you to turn a profit. Anything else.
