All original box and packaging are present. Perfect working condition. No flaws I can detect. I unboxed them 2 month go, set them on the center speaker channel stand. And that's it. I am a lifelong Focal fan and have owned the Chorus, Aria, Electra Be II, Utopia III and Sopra series.
The Micca's would have been a real option, but no ware to get, and so are many of the good alternatives that fall in my €300 budget for the set, I have two options, get the car speakers, or build everything, and just wait with cutting the holes in the plasterboard, and wait for better times to get something like the Micca's. The MDF will be a more solid mounting surface for any in-wall. My 3 LCR in-walls will be behind the screen. So finished looks don't matter for me. But even using acoustically transparent art or cloth can hide in-walls with a full MDF front/back box. Picture is from local Magnolia room. The B&W speaker has its own back box. Yes, I have the idiot proof design--uses a 10" coax in a sealed box. The compression driver weights almost 6 pounds so that should take some abuse. If they figure out how to blow it up, easy to replace the soft bits. In a small sealed box, it will go down to roughly 90Hz before rolling off--close enough. A woofer that could be "correct" in a 1.5 cu-ft box, may work just as well in a 3 cu-ft box without adding filler. I had a chance to listen to these speakers a few times at the local audio shop here. I was able to do a side by side comparison between the Focals and the B&W 802 Diamonds. The B&W's were very nice, but the Focal Electra's gave me goosebumps. If I had the finances I would pick the Focals in a heartbeat. 3) The words FRAGILE located all over the box is an invitation for UPS to damage the goods .. 4) In order to have a shot at a claim at all, you must have at the minimum, 3" of protection around the entire speaker .. 5) You cannot fabricate your own box from raw cardboard .. not on something like this ..

I still have the original speaker boxes (including the protective corners from around the speakers) from 1979! And these are large boxes as the speakers are Klipsch Quartets. I flattened the boxes and stored them behind a bookcase (against the wall); the protective corners are in a plastic bag out in the garage.
