Titans of CNC is really good. It might be the best out there. Just remember it's geared toward using his sponsors stuff. You don't need to use all those tools but they'll walk you through programming with the titans of cnc toolkit. Don't sweat it- just learn the steps and if you end up actually running the parts just substitute your own tools.

Until now most of us have only seen the overwhelming positivity avalanche coming from the Tormach marketing machine (NYC CNC included). We purchased an 1100 for prototyping at work and it's .You can have it good, have it fast, or have it cheap - but you can't have all 3. An option like the lowrider v3 is good and cheap, and very slow compared to commercial machines - but as a hobbyist it's perfect. If you have dreams of using a diy cnc as a "side hustle" to earn with - then I'd say go with commercial because speed will be important.

One off + cheap isn't how machining works unfortunately. One off parts are quite a bit more expensive than a production run because of setup and tooling costs not being spread out over the whole run. Not knowing what your design looks like I'd have a random guess of a minimum of a few hundred dollars and up to get your part made.

Now that we’ve finished the finger, let’s mill the beam from tight-tolerance 4140 alloy steel AND the tricky-to-hold slider piece. Let’s talk tooling, toolpaths, tips, and tricks as well as speeds & feeds in Fusion 360.When content that I had concentricity between the spindle and my chosen M8 hole I zeroed X and Y. I did a double check by manually moving the spindle to X32.5 Y32.5 which brought the laser over the first tooling hole I had sketched on the model. I rechecked concentricity once again and this looked very good.I don't have the tools necessary to make a DIY table for my upcoming QueenBee 1515, although I might be able to get Home Depot cut some lumber that I can nail/screw together, I'd rather just buy something "off-the-shelf" (don't hate for not being "DIY" enough, I honestly just don't have the time and putting the CNC together already is a big time sink).
